What is Pilates?

    I’ve been working closely with Dr. Elise Weiss for over 10 years now. It’s amazing how quickly our personal training clients get healthy or through an injury when the pair smart training with Dr. Weiss’ treatments and recommendations. She’s cutting edge on sports medicine treatments and always takes the most gentle and non-invasive approach possible. She helps patients avoid surgeries in many cases. I’ve experienced her treatments first-hand as an athlete myself with PRP, trigger point shots, and shock wave therapy.     I saw Dr. weiss in April because of a swollen knee, joint locking, unable to kneel comfortably and even trouble walking. 1 treatment, recommended herbal supplements and 3 months later I am a certified yoga instructor. Doing tree pose on both knees. Supervised yoga was my PT. ( A yoga teacher/ dancer recommended Dr. Weiss.) But none of that would have been possible without Dr. Weiss’ initial treatment. Oh and I am 61 years old.
